Fee structure from September 2011

Thank you for your interest in our Pre-School.  Please find below our charges.

There are three types of sessions you can choose from; morning, full day or a 3 hour afternoon session.  The morning session includes lunch time (which is provided by the parents as a packed lunch) and is 4 hours long, while the full day session is 7 hours.  We require parents to book a minimum of  3 part day sessions.

For 3 and 4 year olds, the Government provides funding for 5 x 3 hours per week. At our setting we can apply one free 3 hr session per day irrespective of which session you book (morning afternoon or all day).  The fee scales for each session are reduced in respect of this funding. For under-3s, there is no Government funding available, and we also have to maintain higher staff to children ratios; these facts are reflected in the higher fee scales. The Government funding becomes available at the start of the term following your child’s third birthday.

We operate a single fee scale, although working parents on low incomes may qualify for working parent tax credits, which can be for up to 70% of the fees payable, depending on level of income.

Since April 2005 huge savings can be made against childcare costs by paying for your childcare in childcare vouchers. Childcare vouchers are introduced by the government to help parents save money on childcare cost. The amount of tax and National Insurance contributions each parent will save will depend on their income. Child care vouchers can be purchased through employer benefit schemes. Please talk to your employer to find out how you could benefit from this scheme.
